Happy Wednesday, friends! We are mid-week already and that means it's time for another Paper Craft Crew Challenge. This week is a sketch challenge (my fave) and I have decided to use the brand new How Sweet It Is Suite from the new Occasions Catalogue coming on January 3rd!
I have a feeling this suite will be a popular one! It's super cute, can be used for any occasion, and it includes some beautiful Designer Series Paper! Below is the inspiration for the sketch challenge.
I decided to do a Shaker Card for this sketch because it really suites this suite. The Sweetest Thing Stamp Set and coordinating Jar of Sweets Framelit Dies just scream shaker cards to me and the dies themselves create the perfect candy jar!
You may have noticed that I stamped some jelly beans on the 'inside' of the jar where the sequins are and that I added quite a bit of sequins in proportion to the shaker part of the card. I did this for two reasons; one being that I wanted to add the stamped images for the addition of detail and so it looks like there is actual candy in the jar when you shake it, and two is that with the amount of sequins used I wanted it to have the feel of a full candy jar.

- Coastal Cabana Card Base: 8.5" x 5.5", scored at 4.25"
- Whisper White Cardstock: 3.25" x 4.5"
- Shaker Element How Sweet It Is Designer Series Paper: 3" x 4.25"
- Purple piece of Designer Series Paper: 1" x 5"

- How Sweet It Is Designer Series Paper (#148568). This DSP is so stinkin' cute! It includes fun patterns and images that are perfect for all occasions. This paper also coordinates with the Jar of Sweets Framelit Dies so you can use them to cut out some of the DSP images! Talk about value! Also, the two multi-coloured candies on my card were fussy cut from one of the DSP designs.
- How Sweet It Is Cardstock Pack (#148569). This card uses two of the three colours included in this pack, which is Coastal Cabana and Melon Mambo. The pack also includes Gorgeous Grape!
Other products used in today's card include Whisper White Cardstock (#100730), Foam Adhesive Strips (#141825), Snail Adhesive (#104332), Melon Mambo Ink (#147051), and sequins I already had on hand.
