Hello there, friends! Happy Sunday! Today I am showing you the card that I made for my parents 39th wedding anniversary. We went for a drive to their house and it was a struggle to just drop their drop into their mailbox and walk away. We did get to chat with my mom for a few minutes while she was on the porch and we stayed on the sidewalk, but I was really sad that I wasn't able to give her a hug!
I'm not going to lie; this whole physical distancing thing is starting to get to me! I know it is the right thing to do, but it is still a struggle. I hope you are all doing well though and that you are still staying connected with loved ones.
Anyway, I was still glad to see my Mom (my Dad was out getting some groceries), and I'm happy I could still make them a card. This card layout is from a sketch challenge we did as part of a large Demonstrator Group. These are always so fun and it's always nice to see how everyone interprets the sketch. Here is the sketch:
I really like how this card came together. I used several different elements of new and retired Stampin' Up! product including Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper, Free As A Bird Stamp Set, and Petal Pallet Stamp Set (retired). The overall colours are Pool Party and Daffodil Delight, with a hint of Old Olive.
The card makes me happy because the sentiment is so true; my parents were meant to be together and the love they have for each other is inspiring! I think I'll try the layout again as well, it's a good one. Will you try it too? If you do, use the hashtag #sweetpaperstudios in your posts on Facebook and Instagram so I can check them out!
Again, I do hope you're staying well during this time. Be sure to check out my current classes as many of them are moving to an ONLINE format for the next little while. I hope you'll join me as I hope to give you a fun, relaxing time away at home during this difficult time.

Stay safe and see you soon!
