Hello there, friend! It has been a couple of months since I've been able to hop with the One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop Team and it feels so good to be back! I have some pretty cute projects to show you today for our 'mash up' blog hop theme. This is where we are pairing something old with something new!
For the mash up I chose to use my favourite stamp set, I think of all time, which is Free As A Bird! I paired it with a few new items from the 2021 - 2022 Annual Catalogue, which include the new Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper, Soft Succulent In Color Ribbon, and the new Tailor Made Tag Dies.
For these projects, I made a pretty card and a coordinating gift box that holds 4 tea lights. The patterned paper for both projects is the Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper. For the card itself, I made this as one of my cards during my Facebook Live and you can watch the tutorial below (along with a card made with the new Flowers of Friendship Stamp Set).
So pretty, right? Here are the detailed card photos.
Basic White Card Base: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored and folded at 4-1/4"
Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper: 5-1/4" x 4"
Mint Macaron Cardstock: 4-3/8" x 3-1/8"
Basic White Cardstock: 4-1/4" x 3"
For the tea light box, this was inspired by the talented Sam Hammond Donald, a Demonstrator in the UK. It is such a simple and easy gift and worked perfectly for this gift set. While I don't have a video for this, the measurements are noted below.
