OSAT Blog Hop | Glad Tidings We Bring

Hello there! Welcome to the Sweet Paper Studios blog! It's another month of the One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop! This months theme is all about Christmas! I am so excited about this one because I just love all things Christmas and making Christmas projects is one of my favourite things to do!

For the projects this month, I am using the Heartwaming Hugs Suite Collection. I started with a cute card and then made a coordinating gift using the Mini Coffee Carrier and the Mini Coffee Cups. Though, I included some hot chocolate instead. Here's a look at today's projects:

I've used this gorgeous paper often, which is the from the Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper (DSP). I don't often end of using full packs of DSP (I'm somewhat of a DSP hoarder), but I am on my THIRD pack of this awesome paper already! I just love it so much!

For the card, I used the Stitched Rectangle Dies to die cut the paper and the Whisper White Cardstock sentiment piece. I also added a touch of vellum in the background.

Tips, Tricks, and Card Measurements:

  • Real Red Card Base: 8.5" x 5.5"

  • Vellum Cardstock: 5" x 3-1/4"

  • The patterned paper and Whisper White sentiment piece is die cut using the Stitched Rectangle Dies.

  • Sentiment colour is Real Red.

  • When adhering the Vellum Cardstock, be sure your adhesive is in a place that will be hidden behind the sentiment piece so your adhesive doesn't show through your Vellum.

  • Embellishments include Real Red 3/16" (4.8 mm) Braided Linen Trim and Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

  • The Stamp Set used is the Wrapped In Christmas Stamp Set.

If you would like to learn how to make this card layout, you can watch my Facebook Live reply from this week (November 10th). During the live I made two beautiful cards!

Watch the replay HERE.

For my Mini Coffee Carrier gift, I used the same coordinating products from the Heartwaming Hugs Suite Collection. I used the Warm Hugs Stamp Set for the sentiment on the cup and the Wrapped in Christmas Stamp Set for the tag. I decorated the box with the Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper, made a cute matching tag, and used the coordinating Warm Wrap Dies to decorate the Mini Coffee Cup. Isn't this just the cutest?!

Tips, Tricks, and Mini Coffee Cup Carrier Measurements:

  • Whisper White Cardstock, Long Side: 5.5" x 2-1/8"

  • Heartwarmng Hugs Designer Series Paper, Long Side: 5-3/8" x 2"

  • Whisper White Cardstock, Short Side: 2-5/8" x 2-1/8

  • Whisper White Cardstock, Short Side: 2.5" x 2"

  • With the decorated coffee cup on one side with a pack of hot chocolate and some marshmallows, I used the Mosaic Gusseted Bags and filled one with chocolate for the other side.

  • The embellishments used include the Real Red 3/8" (1 cm) Double-Stitched Satin Ribbon and the Gold Trim from the Wonder of the Season Ribbon Combo Pack.

  • The tag images are stamped in Real Red and Pear Pizzaz Ink colours.

  • The tag is attached to the carrier with two Mini Glue Dots.
