Easy Desktop Calendar Tutorial w/VIDEO

Updated: Dec 22, 2018

Today marks exactly one week until Christmas, which means you still have some time to rush out to get those last minute gifts (like I'll be doing today after Eric's Christmas Concert)! Hey, you may even have time left to make some gifts, including these cute desktop calendars!

Today's project really is a quick and easy gift idea, and would even fit in a stocking! I have included a video tutorial below with complete instructions. Once you have the basic measurements down, the design possibilities are endless. Be sure to scroll all the way down this post to see further inspiration for your designs.

In case you didn't get a chance to write down the measurements, here they are:

- Crumb Cake Calendar Base: 5.5"x 8.5", scored at .5", 1.5", 2.5", and 5.5"

- Lovely Lipstick Cardstock: 2-3/4" x 5-1/4"

- All My Love Designer Series paper: 2-5/8" x 5-1/8"

- Lovely Lipstick Cardstock: 2-3/8" x 3-1/8"

Oh, and can I tell you how much I LOVE the All My Love Designer Series Paper? Be sure to check out some more projects with this paper here and here. It will become available on January 3rd in my online store.

Here is some more calendar design inspiration:

This calendar features the new Gingham Gala DSP coming on January 3rd, 2019.

Aren't they awesome! You can add anything to customize them for yourself or your gift recipient! You may even find some needed supplies in the Clearance Rack, which has just been stocked full of new items!

If you are new to my neck of the woods and don't already have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, I would be thrilled to have you! I host classes in my hometown of Hamilton, ON, and will now be offering online classes in 2019! Of course, I also offer rewards when you shop in my online shop too! I've included the Hostess Code below just in case. :)

Thank you so much for stopping by today and I hope my video was helpful! If you happen to make your own calendars, use the hashtag #sweetpaperstudios in your posts so I can see your creations! Happy Crafting!
