Dressed To Impress Cards

Hello there! Today I am sharing some cards with you today that I made as part of a fabulous Slumber Party Giveaway with a few locally owned businesses. The Facebook giveaway was held by The Slumber Fairy, who provides amazing slumber party tents and set-up. You can visit her website HERE.

The winner won an amazing slumber party with items for 5 people including gorgeous tents, bedding, and SO much more. You can view all the businesses that participated below, but for me specifically, I gave away a custom birthday card with coordinating thank you cards for two separate age groups.

This is the first set of cards as the second party wont' happy until April. The theme for this party was 'Spa Party', so I pulled out the Dressed To Impressed Bundle, which includes the Dressed To Impress Stamp Set and coordinating All Dressed Up Dies.

The stripped black and white paper is from a retired set of Designer Series Paper, but I pulled it out because I thought it really went with the theme. The card base is the fabulous bright pink known as Melon Mambo (which is a top fave of mine!). The Happy Birthday sentiment is from the Well Said Stamp Set.

I really love this set because of its versatility. I was able to use it for a 7 year olds spa party, but it has sentiments for Mother's Day, kindness, and even a couple for your girlfriends who just need a quick pick-me-up.

The coordinating thank you cards were intentionally a bit more subdued in the design (after all, the birthday girl is the start of the show!). I did a bit of simple stamping with the same Melon Mambo Card Stock and Ink, with just a few stamped details.

Also, let's not forget some cute packaging! I used a white clear-top card box and then added some wire ribbon that I had on hand and tied a cute bow on it so it could be hand delivered to Mom. Do you packaged your cards and gifts?

I know that this little girl had a fabulous slumber party for her birthday and am so glad I was able to be apart of it. Here is the list of businesses that participated. Be sure to check them out!
